France Condemns Recent Russian Attacks On Kiev

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) PARIS, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- France strongly condemned on Saturday the Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital and other cities which resulted in many casualties.
'These attacks deliberately targeted once again residential buildings and civilian infrastructure,' the French Foreign Ministry stated, noting this systematic targeting shows Russia's clear desire to escalate its aggression on Ukraine.
Catherine Colonna, the French Foreign Minister, denounced these acts as unacceptable and war crimes that 'must not pass without punishment.'
She reaffirmed France's resolve to continue military and civilian support to Ukraine.
Earlier today, the Ukrainian authorities said that Russia had resumed the missile attacks on the capital city of Kiev, Kharkiv, Zaborija and other cities in the country. (end)
