(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian troops on Saturday, December 24, once again struck the communities of Sumy region bordering Russia, firing a total of 87 mines and shells. That's according to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro zhivytskyi , Ukrinform reports.
According to the administration chief, the Russians shelled the Bilopillia community with mortars - six hits were recorded.
Two enemy mines exploded on the border of the Seredyno-Buda community, where the invaders also employed small arms.

Fourteen hits were recorded in the Novoslobidka community. The enemy also employed artillery, targeting the area. Significant damage was also inflicted on a civilian infrastructure facility.
As reported by Ukrinform, on December 23, Russian troops 45 times hit two communities of Sumy region bordering Russia, damaging a paramedic-midwifery post in one of the villages.
