Armed Forces Of Ukraine Repel Enemy Attacks Near Six Settlements


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russia's attacks near the settlements of Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region and Soledar, Opytne, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka in Donetsk region.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, December 3, published on facebook .

As noted, the enemy keeps shelling civilian infrastructure, going on the offensive in Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions, and redeploying military personnel and equipment to replenish units that suffered losses.

At the same time, the enemy launched five missile strikes, 27 airstrikes, and 44 MLRS attacks on civilian infrastructure and positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line.

There is still a threat of enemy missile strikes on the energy system and critical infrastructure objects throughout the territory of Ukraine.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

The Republic of Belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. In particular, some units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are trained on its training grounds.

In Slobozhansky direction, the areas of the settlements of Strilecha, Neskuchne, Ternova, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, and Cherniakiv in Kharkiv region were hit with the artillery of various types.

The enemy defends itself in Kupyansk and Lyman directions. The invaders opened fire from tanks and the entire range of artillery on the areas of Synkivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Ploshanka in Luhansk region. Airstrikes on Novoselivske and Ivanivka were launched.

In Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the occupiers focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions. The objects in the areas of Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, Opytne, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region were struck with tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery. The enemy also launched airstrikes near the settlements of Verkhniokamyanske, Soledar, and Spirne.

The enemy holds the defense in Novopavlivka direction. The areas of Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

The enemy also holds the defense in Zaporizhzhia direction. The invaders opened fire from tanks and artillery on the areas of Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Ternuvate, Charivne, Huliaypilske and Kamyanske settlements of Zaporizhzhia region.

In Kherson direction, the occupiers defend previously occupied lines. The positions of Ukrainian troops came under artillery fire in the areas of Dudchany, Tiahynka, Ivanivka and Dniprovske settlements in Kherson region. The occupiers do not stop shelling Kherson city and its suburbs.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. In the town of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, more than ten vehicles with wounded servicemen and the bodies of dead occupiers arrived at hospitals.

Ukraine's aircraft launched 17 strikes on the enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment clusters and three strikes on the positions of the enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian soldiers shot down an enemy helicopter and six Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.

At the same time, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit five enemy command posts, two ammunition depots, 11 personnel, weapons and military equipment clusters, and four other important objects of the Russian occupiers.
