Dubai Foundation for Women & Children Signs MoU with Al Adheed center

The Dubai Foundation for Women & Children (DFWAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Adheed Center Bin Sougat Branch to share expertise and join forces to serve the country and the community. The step is part of DFWAC’s efforts to build an effective partnership and strengthen cooperation with the public and private sectors.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Sheikha Al Mansoori, Acting Director General of Dubai Foundation for Women and Ehab Essam El Din, Director of Al Adheed Centers, in the presence of senior officers and Head of Departments from both sides.

The agreement aims to establish a framework for effective collaboration between the two parties to exchange experience, implement programs, public awareness campaigns, and facilitate fundraising events in which the proceeds are dedicated to support the foundation.

As part of the agreement, DFWAC and Al Adheed Centers will work together to allocate jobs and training opportunities to the foundation’s clients as well as exempt them from government service fees or provide them with discounted services. Training workshops about domestic violence and child abuse will be also organized.

H.E. Sheikha Al Mansoori said that the agreement will contribute towards establishing a strong corporate partnership with a vision to promote voluntarism and humanitarian work as a national duty. In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE, the country has set policies to encourage social responsibility and volunteering to build a better future for the country. She praised the efforts of Al Adheed Centers as a leader in providing distinguished government services for companies and individuals in the country and a key player in community service.

For his part Ehab Essam El Din, director of Al Adheed centers welcomed the signing of the agreement with Dubai Foundation for Women & Children and commended their efforts to provide women and children, especially victims of violence and abuse, with protection and support services including legal assistance and psycho-social care. “It our duty to support the foundation by all means and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.” He said.
