Ukrainian, U.S. Energy Chiefs Talk Measures To Repel Russia's Energy Terrorism

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) energy Minister Herman Galushchenko had a phone call with U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, discussing measures to counter Russian terrorism in the energy sector. This was reported by the of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.
Halfway through the call, Galushchenko emphasized that large-scale Russian attacks on energy facilities throughout Ukraine have been going on almost continuously for more than a week already.
'He emphasized that now more than ever, the consolidation of international efforts is needed to confront Russia on the energy front and attract help to protect and restore Ukraine's energy sector,' the Ministry of Energy reports.

As reported, on the morning of October 17, the Russians launched another series of attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Another wave of strikes was reported Tuesday morning, targeting energy facilities in Zhytomyr, Dnipro, and Kyiv.
On the morning of October 10, the Russians shelled energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, Lviv region, and Vinnytsia. Both cruise missiles and Iranian-made one-way attack drones were employed.
