Welcome to The Conjuring Universe

Get ready to hold your breath on Tuesday, 4 October, 21:00 MECCA, with The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It on beIN MOVIES 1 - watching paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren - Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga - take a closer look into the first American murder trial claiming demonic possession as a defence. Often referred to as The Conjuring 3, the 2021 American supernatural horror film is a sequel to two previous movies and the eighth and latest instalment released in “The Conjuring Universe”.

If you missed the first few films in the series, you can catch up on the first appearance of the Warrens in The Conjuring (2013) on Friday, 21 October, 23:30 MECCA, as they help a family terrorised by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Then, on Friday, 28 October, 23:00 MECCA, Ed and Lorraine Warren go on their new mission to help a single mother of four children with her house that is plagued by a supernatural spirit in North London during The Conjuring 2 (2016).

Over on beIN MOVES 3, you can continue living in The Conjuring universe with Annabelle (2014) , on Friday, 7 October, 23:00 MECCA. The movie builds on the origins of the Annabelle doll that was introduced in The Conjuring, as the Form family, John and Mia, are expecting a child, whose vintage doll becomes possessed by a vengeful spirit after two devil worshippers break into their home. A terrifying prequel, Annabelle: Creation (2017), follows on the same channel, on Friday, 14 October, 23:15 MECCA, where the dollmaker, whose daughter tragically died 12 years earlier, and his wife open their home to a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage, but their possessed creation, Annabelle, turns the children’s shelter into a storm of ultimate evil.

Not-to-Miss Premiers

Tune into beIN MOVIES 1 for Malignant, directed by James Wan, a premier coming to glue you to your seat on Tuesday, 11 October, at 21:00 MECCA. Witness shocking visions of horrifying murders make Madison Lake-Mitchell (Annabelle Wallis) paralysed; escalating when she discovers that these visions are real. This 2021 must-watch American horror film received critics’ praise for its gory-thrilling scenes.

For the rest of October, beIN MOVIES 1 will bring a new horror premier to your screens every Tuesday, 21:00 MECCA - so do not miss out on Don’t Breathe 2 and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

Then, on 21 October, enjoy Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018), where the whole family gets to live a Halloween night getting destructed by accidentally released monsters from the unpublished Goosebumps manuscript titled Haunted Halloween.
