Ukrzaliznytsia, Deutsche Bahn Sign Memorandum On Support And Cooperation
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's state-owned railway company Ukrzaliznytsia and Germany's largest rail operator Deutsche Bahn have signed a memorandum of understanding pledging support and cooperation in international freight transport.
According to Ukrinform, Ukrzaliznytsia said this on Facebook .
The signing ceremony took place during the InnoTrans 2022 trade fair for transport technology in Berlin.
'The memorandum envisages cooperation between the companies to expand rail freight transport corridors and terminal capacity,' the report said.
In addition, the memorandum provides for Germany's assistance to Ukrzaliznytsia in rebuilding the Ukrainian rail system.
