KABUL, Afghanistan – The Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi at a ceremony in Kabul on Monday urged the world leaders – including international community – to cooperate with the Taliban leadership for the betterment of the region.

Muttaqi made the remarks at a ceremony that was held to honor the first anniversary of the Islamic Emirate's return to power since August 15, 2021.

“We should all work together to take advantage of this opportunity, and the international community should cooperate with Afghanistan and the new government,” he said, as TOLOnews quoted.

“In order to prevent the misery that occurred during the past 40 years that no one could stop, so not repeat it again,” he explained.“Here, every remedy has failed.”

Speaking of Doha agreement at the ceremony, Muttaqi said Afghanistan has not been used as a threat against any country, including the United States, which is part of their commitment agreed upon during the peace negotiation in Qatari capital.

“We pledged to the entire world that Afghan soil wouldn't be used against anyone,” he exclaimed.“We have not seen any instances of Afghanistan's soil being used against anyone in the past 12 months.”

“The perpetrators of the attempted launch of some missiles into Uzbekistan were detained,” he further added.“Some of them have been killed and others had been put in jail.”

“Alhamdulillah, corruption in all its forms, including moral and administrative corruption, has been eradicated; there is no corruption anywhere in any province or in any government agency,” Hanafi said.

“In the past year, the Islamic Emirate has also moved the country forward, and all government agencies have moved,” Muhajid said.“This is despite preserving its independence and having autonomy in all its decisions.”

This came at a time, the Taliban leadership on Monday announced independence, celebrating one year in power, after foreign troops withdrew from the country.
