Bodies Of 64 More Fallen Azovstal Defenders Returned To Ukraine
“The relevant agreement was reached as a result of negotiations with the participation of Commissioner on Persons Gone Missing under Special Circumstances Oleh Kotenko,” the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine posted on Facebook .
The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Reintegration, the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
The process of receiving the bodies of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers continues. It takes place under the rules of the Geneva Convention.
As reported, on June 9, the bodies of 58 more fallen Azovstal defenders were delivered to Kyiv.
