Montes, for his part, affirmed Brazil's keenness to cooperate with the JPMC in the field of importing Jordanian phosphates and manufacturing phosphate fertilizers to ensure success of Brazil's national fertilizer plan.
Montes also lauded the company's role and reputation in the global phosphate market, and its 'remarkable and enormous' potential.
The visit, he noted, aims to discuss ways to deliver phosphate fertilizers of various types to the Brazilian market to meet its needs, which are estimated at more than 40 million tonnes annually.
Jordan, he said, has a 'huge and large' reservoir of high-quality phosphate ore, which today has become a main requirement to contribute to achieving food security at the national and global levels.
Stressing his country's desire to cooperate with JPMC to meet the Brazilian market's needs of phosphate fertilizers, he noted the near future will witness 'remarkable' joint cooperation in the field of phosphate production and manufacturing of phosphate fertilizers and phosphoric acid.
On future steps, he said the visit's outcomes will be sent to the Brazilian National Industry Confederation (CNI) aimed to facilitating the process of communication between Brazilian companies and the JPMC , in a way that enhances the existing cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.
