Ukraine - Kuleba says there's chance to resolve crisis through diplomacy

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Now there is every chance of resolving the crisis on the Ukrainian border through diplomatic means, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

He stated this at a joint press conference with Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares Bueno in Kyiv on Wednesday, February 9, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

'I want to confirm Jose Manuel's words that, indeed, there is now a chance to resolve the crisis through diplomatic means. And the sanctions that were developed by the European Union are also part of the diplomatic path,' he said.

Kuleba added that the sanctions were developed so that they can be applied in the event of a further or new wave of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

'The sanctions package has been developed, and it is already working as a tool to deter further aggressive actions by Russia,' he said.
