EU official says Iran nuclear negotiations ‘on right track'

(MENAFN) According to an EU official, talks on the Iran nuclear agreement are “on right track” and a last contract might be inked in the near future.

A senior EU official stated regarding the talks in the Austrian capital Vienna to return the US and Iran to the 2015 nuclear contract “We are on the right track for a final agreement.”

He as well highlighted that the slow speed of discussions may put a “good solution” in threat.

He also said “Still, I think we will have an agreement (…) sooner than later.”

EU foreign policy ruler Josep Borrell affirmed he wished “to be able to inform the public about the final decision within weeks.”
