Qatar - QND celebrations a source of joy and pride

The Qatar National Day celebrations have been a source of joy and pride for all residents of the country, with families, children and young people expressing their happiness as they took part at the different activities featured. Children in particular enjoyed wearing military uniforms and traditional dresses, while young people displayed their pride in the country and love for it in by decorating their vehicles with the Qatari flags, the National Day Motto and other National Day themes.
Ahead of the National Day, the auto accessory shops, tailors and gift shops experienced brisk business as many people were keen to actively take part at the celebration. Speaking to local Arabic daily Arrayah, some parents stressed that their children are happy to be an active part of the occasion and express their love and passion for the country, where they enjoy an excellent life.
They stressed that their children wait for the National Day to put on their military uniforms and traditional and heritage dresses.
Abdulla Hassan, a young man, said that decorating the car with the Qatari flags, the images of the wise leadership and phrases of loyalty is one of the ways his peers express their love and happiness on this occasion. He stressed that these also convey a message of support for the nation to go ahead with the progress seen in all fields.
Abdulla Ali, another young man, stressed that decorating vehicles is considered only a simple way to express the great love of the young people for the country.
