Jordan - Relatively cold weather forecast for Monday
Amman, Dec. 6 (Petra) -- Relatively cold weather is forecast in most parts of the Kingdom, with clouds at low altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on Monday.
Cold weather will persist on Tuesday despite a slight rise in temperatures, with clouds at high altitudes and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds.
As we head into Wednesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a wet and cold air mass, leading to a significant drop in temperatures and a chance of rainfall in the northern and central regions.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across Jordan today will range between 18 and 15 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 11C or even 8C in the northern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be warmer with mercury reaching a high of 28C and a low of 16C.
