Dubai, Dec. 3 (Petra)-- Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment, Commissioner General of the Jordanian Pavilion in Expo 2020, Zaher Qatarneh met, on Friday, a Russian delegation representing an industrial and economic delegation, in Dubai.
The delegation was briefed on the investment reality and the legislation governing it, in addition to the benefits of investing in the Kingdom.
Qatarneh stressed the government's keenness to provide a safe, encouraging and competitive investment environment for investors to enable them to access many Arab and international markets thanks to Jordan's strategic location and the network of free trade agreements Jordan has with America, Britain, the European Union, Canada and Singapore in addition to the Arab countries.
For his part, Russian Deputy Prime Minister of the Penza Region Valery Bespalov said the Russian delegation, which came from three Russian provinces specialized in manufacturing equipment for the production of gas and oil, petrochemical industries, timber, furniture, aluminum and complementary food industries, is interested in the Jordanian market for its strategic location, which facilitates the entry to many neighboring markets.
