Ukraine wins second medal at Karate World Championships
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine national team has won the second medal at the Karate World Championships in Dubai (UAE).
Kateryna Kryva from Lviv got a bronze, Ukrinform reports.
In the fight for the 3rd place in the weight category up to 50 kg Kryva defeated Moldir Zhangbirbay from Kazakhstan (5:0).
Today, Anita Seriohina (61 kg) from Odesa will compete with Serbia's Olympic champion Jovana Prekovic for the gold medal.
Earlier, Halyna Melnyk (68 kg) from Lviv won the bronze medal.
