John is a Research Fellow at the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment, The University of Western Australia, and has previously held postdoctoral positions at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and the University of Southampton. John has a PhD in Geography from the University of Southampton. John's research focuses on the use and development of geospatial technologies and Earth observation data to study and analyse environmental change and climatic impacts on people and ecosystems.
