Jordan, Syria discuss cross-border transport
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sep. 27 (Petra) -- Officials from Jordan and Syria on Monday will hold talks to discuss cross-border transport, according to Transport Minister, Wajih Azaiza.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Azaiza said the talks will tackle freight challenges, the back-to-back shipment protocol, the suspension of the Jordanian Syrian Land Transport Company and the fees imposed on trucks at the borders.
The minister voiced hope that today's meeting will propose real solutions to both countries' common challenges in the fields of transport, industry, trade and water.
