Indonesia envoy participates in tree plantation
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Ambassador of Indonesia to Qatar H E Ridwan Hassan and officials from Public Parks Department participate in a tree plantation event. The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Public Parks Department, in coordination with the Embassy of Indonesia in Qatar orgnaised the event under the 'Plant Million Tree' initiative.
A number of saplings of local trees were planted during the event. The Ministry urged all public and private organisations and individuals to contribute to the initiative due to importance of trees in preserving the environment and health of people.
