IIEE-SQC TMC celebrates 11th anniversary

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Integrated Institute of Electrical Engineers State of Qatar Chapter Toastmasters Club (IIEE-SQC TMC) recently conducted their 199th club meeting and 11th anniversary via Zoom with the theme of ‘We before Me.’ The celebration was driven by club president Marlon Manantan and toastmaster of the night Lornalyn Tallod.
Adam Musa, Philippine labour attache, was the keynote speaker at the event. He showed interest in becoming a member of the club.
Area-1 director Faisal al-Hudawi was also present and gave an inspirational talk. Club adviser Robert U Mabulay shared stories about the history of the club.
Exceptional office-bearers were recognised and a new set of club representatives installed.
Trixie Lee Santos, Noel Gabane, and Jonathan Velicaria are the club's most outstanding members for 2020-21.
Lornalyn Tallod, who served as vice-president for membership, was named as the most outstanding club officer.
The newly-installed representatives are as follows: Jimmy Michael Bugay, president; Jonathan Velicaria, vice president for education; Christopher Antopina, vice president for membership; Noel Gabane, vice president for public relations; Trixie Lee Santos, secretary; Harry Galinato, treasurer; and Dennis Alipio, sergeant-at-arms.
The handing-over of the gavel was one of the highlights of the event.
