Qatar- Students to attend classes from 9am to 12:35pm in Ramadan: Education Ministry


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that students' attendance during the blessed month of Ramadan starts from 9am until 12:35pm, with five lessons per day, provided that each school organises the schedule for broadcasting at a rate of 25 lessons per week.

The ministry specified the duration of the first three classes at 40 minutes for each session, and the fourth and fifth classes at 35 minutes each, provided that there are five minutes between each session, and the duration of the break was set at ten minutes.

The circular also specified students' attendance at kindergartens starting from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at the rate of two hours per day, and the school administration has the freedom to coordinate the daily schedule, provided that the English language course is provided at the rate of three lessons per week for each class for a period of 45 minutes from 10:45 am to 11:30 am, while the skills activity was limited to one hour from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
