Lebanon reports 4,359 Covid-19 cases, 61 deaths


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- Lebanon on Tuesday announced that 61 patients died from the coronavirus (COVID-19) and 4,359 people tested positive for the disease in the past 24 hours.
The new figures pushed the overall infections and death toll to 260,315 and 2,020 respectively, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said in its daily report.
As many as 22,912 people recovered from the coronavirus pandemic in the same period, taking the total to 156,084, it added.
Lebanon has been witnessing a full curfew since January 14 that will run until January 25 to curb the spread of the coronavirus cases. (end)
