Bad weather leaves 357 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Adverse weather conditions have left 357 towns and villages in five regions of Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"As of 07:00 on December 26, bad weather conditions (wet snow, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 357 populated localities in five regions, in particular: Poltava region – 281, Sumy region – 46, Donetsk region – 15, Dnipropetrovsk region – 13, Chernivtsi region – 2,' the report says.

Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
