
Afghanistan- Provincial Police Seize 15kg of Drugs in Two Operations
(MENAFN- Khaama Press) MOI reports seizure of 15 kilograms of illegal drugs in two different operations carried in Ghazni and the Faryab province.
Ministry of Interior has tweeted on Sunday, at least 15 kilograms of illicit drugs were confiscated following a Counter-Narcotics operation by CNPA in central of Ghazni Province.
Meanwhile, another drug trafficker was arrested in a separate operation in Maimana city of Faryab province.
The smuggler reportedly placed one kilogram of Heroin inside his belly, after being arrested at the provincial entrance checkpoint.
Reports indicate before entering the city the perpetrator was caught, and the drugs were seized.
MOI had previously tweeted that, 'Six drug traffickers arrested following several Counter-Narcotics operations carried out by CNPA in Kabul & Kunduz provinces. The arrestees' files have been referred for further investigation to the related departments'.
