Kuwait- Trump says has given TikTok deal his blessing
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump said that he has given the deal between Chinese owned app TikTok and Oracle his "blessing".
"TikTok is moving along. Weآ're dealing with Oracle," Trump told reporters before departing to North Carolina late Saturday.
He added "I have given the deal my blessing."
"If they get it done, thatآ's great, if they donآ't, thatآ's okay too. Itآ's a great deal for America," he noted.
He affirmed that he "approved the deal in concept".
He continued "weآ'll see whether or not it all happens, but conceptually, I think itآ's a great deal for America."
He affirmed that "the security will be 100 percent. Theyآ'll be using separate clouds and a lot of very, very powerful security." (end)
