Afghanistan- Ghani Appoints 12 New Ambassadors, 1 Holds his Post


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) KABUL, Afghanistan – The Afghan government has appointed at least 12 new ambassadors to world capitals, while Wahid Waissi maintains his post as Afghanistan Ambassador to Australia, New Zealand and the Republic of Fiji.

The country's Foreign Ministry said on Thursday these 12 Ambassadors are new to the position, which are listed as following:

  • Amir Mohammad Ramin, Ambassador to Ankara
  • Said Tayeb Jawad, Ambassador to Moscow
  • Farid Mamundzay, Ambassador to New Delhi
  • Najibullah Alikhel, Ambassador to Islamabad
  • Yama Yari, Ambassador to Berlin
  • Khalid Zakarya, Ambassador to Rome
  • Bismillah Waziri, Ambassador to Bishkek
  • Khan Wali Khan Basharmal, Ambassador to Ashgabat
  • Amanullah Jaihoon, Ambassador to Baku
  • Manijha Bakhtari, Ambassador to Vienna
  • Wahid Waissi, Ambassador to Canberra
  • Shafaq Khawati, Non-resident Ambassador to Tehran
