Iran leap to its power promises to Iraq


(MENAFN) On Tuesday July 21 Shana accounted that Es'haq Jahangiri Iran's First Vice President stated that Iran is decided to complete its promises concerning the supply of electricity and gas to Iraq even in the climax summer period.

Jahangiri stated in a conference with a high-ranking Iraqi delegation headed by Iraqi Prime Minister Mostafa al-Kadhimi in Tehran that "(In return), we expect Iraq to make the payments for these services,".

Es'haq Jahangiri renowned that the two countries have a number of areas for increasing joint economic collaboration, stating that "Fortunately, the cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad has grown to an acceptable level in various sectors, including oil, gas and electricity, but there are still many other areas for the development of bilateral economic relations.".

Es'haq stated that the precondition for the growth of economic relations is having banking and economic relations, and called for acceleration of the completion of banking and financial accords.
