(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, July 2 (KUNA) -- Total infections of coronavirus in Belgium increased to 61,598 after 89 more cases were reported by Belgian health authorities on Thursday.
Seven more deaths from coroanvirus were reported, raising the country's death toll from the COVID-19 to 9,761 so far, the ministry said in a press statement.
Nine coronavirus patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours, it added.
Trends in the number of new infections and hospitalizations are declining, added the ministry. (end)
