Kuwait SC hold Qadsia to goalless draw in premier league

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait SC held Qadsia SC to a goalless draw in the 13th round of Kuwait Premier League on Thursday.
The two teams were cautious in the first half of the match, held at Al Kuwait Sport Club Stadium; however, Qadsia made some opportunities but went in vain.
In the second half, Qadsia made a brilliant performance, although the referee gave a red card for one of its players in the 57th minute.
In the 68th minutes, the referee cancelled a goal for Qadsia using the video assistant referee "VAR".
After this goalless draw, Qadisa have 27 points, topping the league's list, while Kuwait obtained 24 points.
On the sidelines of the match, a festival marking the retirement of Qadsia and national team's player Saud Al-Memjed was held under the patronage of Kuwait SC president Khaled Al-Ghanim.
Al-Sahel vs Al-Arabi and Al-Shabab vs Kazma will be played on Friday (tomorrow) in the 13th round of the competition. (end)
