Kuwait- KNPC: Distillation unit of environmental project operated
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced on Sunday operating the vacuum distillation unit at Al-Ahmadi refinery, affiliated to the environmental fuel project.
Abdullah Al-Ajmi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and the KNPC official spokesperson, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the unit had begun production according to schedule.
This unit had been built according to state of art international specifications with an output capacity that can reach some 72,000 barrels of diesel per day.
It is one of the key units affiliated to the environmental fuel venture, he said, adding that the step would pave the way for operating other facilities envisaged in the project at Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries. (end)
