Kuwait's Pharmaceutical Association acquires FIP membership


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Pharmaceutical Association Chairman Walid Al-Shammari announced on Sunday that Kuwait has acquired the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) membership.
Al-Shammari told KUNA, on the sideline of the 79th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, held for five days in Abu-Dhabi, the membership would allow Kuwait to contribute the FIP's activities.
He added that the Kuwait Pharmaceutical Association fulfilled the requirements needed to become a member at the FIP.
Founded in 1912, FIP is the global body representing pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences and pharmaceutical education, it represents 144 national organizations, academic institutional members and individual members, and over four million pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists and pharmaceutical educators around the world.
