2 U.S. officials dead in Afghanistan

The NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) said on Thursday that 2 soldiers from the U.S. died in Afghanistan.
It is quoted as saying that "Two U.S. service members were killed on August 21, 2019 in Afghanistan."
No further details were given in the statement, it continued with saying "in accordance with U.S. Department of Defense policy, the names of the service members killed in action are being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is completed."
