(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the decree on the ban of imports of Russian goods into Ukraine, extending its operation until December 31, 2020.
The corresponding document of July 5 has been published on the Cabinet's website.
'To introduce the attached changes in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1147 of December 30, 2015 "On the prohibition of import of goods originating from the Russian Federation into the customs territory of Ukraine" (Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2016, No. 3, Article 180, No. 55, Article 1918; 2019 , No. 2, Article 45, No. 32, Article 1155) as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 535 of May 15, 2019, the document says.
As reported, on May 15, Ukraine imposed an embargo on Russian cement and plywood in response to the decision of the Russian Federation to close access of goods originating from the territory of Ukraine to the Russian market.
Currently, the import of portland cement, aluminous cement, slag cement, cement and similar hydraulic cements, painted or not painted, ready-made or in the form of clinkers, as well as glued plywood, veneered panels and similar materials from laminated wood is prohibited into the territory of Ukraine.
As reported, on April 18, Russia imposed sanctions on Ukrainian goods, including paper and cardboard products, clothing and footwear, pipe products and bulldozers.
