Jordan- Gov't to set plan to increase exports to Europe
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 10 (Petra) -- Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tariq Hammouri has said that the government is keen to benefit from the new facilities of the agreement aimed at simplifying the rules of origin with the EU through increasing the flow of Jordanian exports into Europe.
During a meeting in the Jordan Chamber of Industry to discuss the terms of the agreement on Wednesday, Hammouri said: "The plan is aimed at boosting the Jordanian exports to Europe and it includes many pillars, chief of which are launching awareness campaigns and familiarizing the industrial sector with the new facilities and on how to benefit from them."
He also said that the plan includes offering technical support to the industrial companies that desire to export to Europe.
