Mall in Dubai suffers temporary power outage
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Mall of the Emirates has suffered a temporary power outage on Thursday night, a mall spokesperson said.
"A temporary power shutdown occurred at Mall of the Emirates this evening (Thursday), due to a technical issue. The matter was immediately resolved and it is now business as usual at the mall, according to a statement sent to Khaleej Times.
"Precautionary measures were taken to ensure the safety of visitors and tenants, and to minimise disruption during this period," the statement added,Shoppers were asked to leave the mall after the lights went off. Power partially returned after some time and the mall continued its operations. Many people were at Mall of the Emirates as it was a Thursday night - people were watching the movie Avengers: Endgame, a mall staff told Khaleej Times.
