Bahrain, Kuwait officials meet ahead of joint cmte session
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, April 23 (KUNA) -- The preparatory meeting of the 10th session of the joint Kuwaiti-Bahraini committee was held in Manama in preparation for a joint committee meeting due on Wednesday.
The meeting is part of continuing bilateral cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and Kuwait, Bahraini Undersecretary of Regional and Gulf Affairs Waheed Mubarak said during the meeting.
Mubarak stressed the significance of Kuwaiti-Bahraini cooperation in political, economic, trade, social, cultural, media, youth, sports and educational realms.
On his part, Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Affairs Naser Al-Muzein hailed relations between both Gulf nations as deep-rooted ties of crucial and strategic dimensions.
He added that the aim of the meeting is to push forward bilateral relations to broader horizons in order to better serve common interests. (end) hmd.mt
