Kuwait jumps 1.2 percent in economic growth
(MENAFN) Kuwait stood at USD131.2 billion in its gross domestic product (GDP) growth at constant prices in 2018 to mark a 1.2 percent boost from 2017 figures.
During the final quarter of last year, GDP of Kuwait at current prices registered an 11.4 percent jump from the same period a year earlier.
KUNA further reported Kuwait's GDP at constant prices to have recorded a 2 percent surge during the fourth quarter due to oil prices.
It added that the oil sector alone accounted for 47 percent of the GDP at current prices and 53.9 percent at constant prices.
