Turkish embassy sympathizes with Iran over flood incident


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) Turkish embassy in Tehran sympathized with Iran over the flood incident north of the country, and expressed preparedness to help the flood-hit regions, Trend reported citing IRNA.

'We wholeheartedly share the pain of our brothers hit by the flood disaster that took place in Golestan and Mazandaran Provinces in Northern Iran. Turkey is ready to give any kind of support,' the Turkish Embassy in Tehran said in a message released on Monday.

Golestan and Mazandaran provinces north of the country have been affected by heavy rains for the past few days. Flood forced people in many areas to flee and Aqqala and Gomishan cities in Golestan province were evacuated in order to prevent human losses.
