Iran, Syria universities sign cooperation deal
(MENAFN) Iranian Islamic Azad University (IAU) penned on Saturday a memorandum of understanding with Damascus University.
Acting President of Islamic Azad University Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi inked the MoU alongside Syrian Higher Education Minister Bassam Bashir Ibrahim.
Under the deal, the two Iranian and Syrian universities will contribute in boosting academic cooperation between their countries.
Both Iran and Syria, through the agreement, will have the opportunity to strengthen their relations on educational and academic levels.
