Cameroon: 4 die in hospital fire

(MENAFN) Army Rescue Unit declared that over four people have died when a blaze broke out at a hospital in Southwest, one of Cameroon's two restive English-speaking regions.

An army official confirmed: "Apart from the four people, five cars were burnt and significant equipment destroyed. Suffering patients are now stranded."

The army hasn't made any statements yet regarding the reason behind the blaze.

Armed separatists are in efforts to secede from French-majority Cameroon and produce a new nation named "Ambazonia."
