Ramallah, Dec. 9 (Petra) – Israeli Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel, on Sunday led a group of ultra-Jewish extremist settlers in an incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian source confirmed.

General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, told Petra's reporter in Ramallah that today's incursion was carried out through the Magharba gate with participation of dozens of extremists and under heavy protection of the Israeli occupation soldiers.

The incursion was executed amid renewal calls by the alleged "Temple" organizations to intensify break-ins into the Aqsa Mosque today and tomorrow, as they are the last two days of the so called "Hanukkah" holiday.
