UAE- Curb bullying in schools with new smart app, say Ajman Police
Created to curb bullying and keep learning environments safe, the smart service allows students to directly contact the Ajman Police with just a few taps on their screens.
Major-General Shaikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, commander-in-chief of the Ajman Police, launched 'Student Problems', along with other services that will be available on the new smart application. This includes a facial recognition feature that uses artificial intelligence and a smart camera system to identify an individual and provide information on the person captured in a photo."The person's data will then be displayed directly on the screen. This service facilitates access to the person's data without having to store it every time," said Al Nuaimi.
Residents may also report traffic accidents and violations by taking photos; request legal advice; or even contact and locate the nearest police station, hospitals, pharmacies and other important places - all through the application, he said. "The Ajman Police are making every effort to support innovation through the use of AI among others."
