RAMALLAH, Safar 04, 1440, October 13, 2018, SPA -- The Palestinian government strongly condemned on Saturday Israeli settlers' murder of a Palestinian mother of eight when a car she was in on a West Bank road came under attack with stones.
Aisha Rabi, 48, from the town of Bidya, in the north of the West Bank where a cluster of illegal Jewish settlements were built, was hit by a stone in the head and killed and her husband injured when their car came under stone attack by Israeli settlers as they were driving home late on Friday night.
Government spokesman Yousef al-Mahmoud described in a statement the murder of Rabi as 'terror attack,' holding the Israeli government responsible for the rise in attacks by settlers against Palestinian civilians living under occupation.
Israel rarely arrests or prosecutes settlers involved in attacking Palestinians.
He demanded immediate implementation of international law in the occupied Palestinian territories and providing protection to the Palestinian people.
