(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte is planning to visit Kuwait mid-October, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a highlevel diplomatic source.

The source explained that the new Ambassador of the Philippines to Kuwait will be nominated before the president's visit.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines currently has two options – either nominate the current charge d'affaires of the embassy as the ambassador or nominate another one from Manila.

The former ambassador of Philippine to Kuwait Renato Villa has been nominated as the Deputy Ambassador of the Philippines in Washington
