Oman- Pakistan Defence Day celebrated with enthusiasm

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Defence Day celebration was held in Barka, in which an exceptional chief guest Commando (Retd) Farrukh Mahmood from Pakistan and Imran Shaukat, a well-known singer from Pakistan, presented patriotic songs of Pakistan.
The celebration included the recitation of Q'uran, follow by Naat sharif and a beautiful patriotic song. Pakistan Social Club's vice chairman Shabbir Ahmad Nadeem and director Mohammad Ali Fazal addressed the participants and presented special articles regarding the Defence Day of Pakistan, while honourable and popular poet Marwat Ahmad spoke about Defence Day. General secretary Mohammad Zaeem Akhtar thanked all the guests who attended the ceremony. Mahmood highlighted the memories of Defence Day, offered a tribute and mentioned the kindness of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The programme was presented in a very beautiful way under the supervision of welfare director Kashif Zaeem Akhtar and director, public relations, Ch Abbas, with the support of Pakistan Social Club Oman event director Qamar Riaz and Mohammad Naveed Bota, Syed Shafi Arif ullah and director of the Bureaucracy, Ali Bounty, director of sports Kaleem Akhter, and social worker, Azra Aleem. Chairman of Pakistan Social Club Mian Mohammad Munir said that the event was organised in a very extraordinary manner. The current board of Pakistan Social Club Oman is committed to celebrating national days and cultural festivals.
