Egypt, Uzbekistan lenders ink cooperation deal on exports
(MENAFN) Egypt's lender Banque du Caire was confirmed to have inked a deal with the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) on boosting exports.
The cooperation agreement is to strengthen Egyptian exports through entering new markets of the Commonwealth of Independent states (CIS).
Under the agreement, the two lenders are to be enabled to make direct transactions without the help of an intermediary bank.
The Egyptian state-run lender, under the agreement, is to become the guarantor for the Egyptian exporters, and financier for importers of Egyptian products.
