Renowned global coach training organization MMS Institute marks UAE entry by welcoming first intake
The coach training space in the UAE has just been stormed by MMS Institute, the 44-year-old transformational executive coaching organization renowned for successfully driving change in multiple Fortune 500 companies.
MMS Institute Dubai welcomed the first batch of ambition-driven multi-national participants recently, for a 60-hour, two-part intensive training course, based on the unique and proven MMS methodology and key principles of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Outlining MMS Institute’s plans, Mana Al Suwaidi, senior partner of MMS Coach Training Institute LLC, Dubai, said the entry of MMS Institute is perfectly timed as the UAE gears up to create transformational leaders ahead of Expo 2020.
“The MMS coach training we launched in Dubai is based on the renowned MMS methodology designed by Dr. Chérie Carter-Scott, MCC, who has been hailed as the Mother of Coaching. We have further fine-tuned and localized the training, to be in sync with Dubai’s bold vision and futuristic plans. It dovetails with what HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has said -- If you want to create the future, start doing it now,” said Al Suwaidi.
“The training is delivered by some of the finest coach trainers from MMS Institute, who are all ICF master and professional certified coaches having delivered over 25,000 hours of training worldwide, including the Netherlands, USA, UK, South East Asia and Far East. Dubai waited for too long for this kind of training. The participants come from diverse nationalities and background,” Al Suwaidi added.
Mr. Al Suwaidi announced that MMS Dubai was in advanced stages of finalizing an MoU with a leading Dubai institution to enable incorporating coaching skills and management elements into the corporate environment, with a focus on young executives and businesswomen. “We believe this MoU will open opportunities for UAE organizations to benefit from international coaching benchmarks. In the long-term, this type of world-class coach training will boost the UAE economy, empower further diversification of knowledge-based economy and accelerate the preparations for Expo 2020,” he added.
Lynn U. Stewart, MCC, veteran MMS coach trainer, said: “We are excited to launch the first coach training program in Dubai for the benefit of participants from Dubai. It is a 60-hour intensive program, split into two parts, enabling the participants to integrate the basics of coaching and the ICF’s 11 Core Competencies of coaching. The short break in the program enables the participants to practice their coaching skills and then return for the final training sessions.”
Speaking about MMS relevance to Dubai, Ms. Stewart said: “What is different about our program is that the coaching process is aligned with what Dubai is all about -- Creating the future today, preparing us for tomorrow, to lead with integrity generations who will follow. We invite individuals to reflect on their dreams, then to design their future, and create the life they want to live. We motivate and inspire them to make their individual and corporate dreams become reality.”
The global coaching industry is valued at $2.4 billion, making it the second fastest growing profession in the world after IT, ahead of engineering, health care, accounting, and food services. The coaching industry is growing at 18% annually, and annual spending in US alone is over $1 billion.
