(MENAFN- KNN India) Functionality to file quarterly GSTR 1 returns live: GSTN
New Delhi, Dec 18 (KNN) The functionality to file quarterly GSTR 1 returns has been provided on the GST portal, the portal for GST, Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) informed.
The functionality to file quarterly GSTR 1 is applicable for taxpayers whose value of clearance is less than 1.5 crores in current or previous financial year.
Also with regard to the GST TRAN 2 form, the portal notified that taxpayers who were unregistered person under existing law, they can use the provided facility on the portal to fill the form TRAN 2. It can be used to give statement to avail credit on goods held in stock on the appointed day, in respect of which they were not in possession of any document evidencing payment of duty.
Further the portal informed that the functionality to create and submit for GSTR 5A by Online Data Access or Retrieval services in now available on the portal. Informing the taxpayers of the filing of NIL, the GSTN informed that the NIL filing can now be done simply in a single step. (KNN/DA)
