(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Istanbul, Oct. 2 (Petra)--The training academy of the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Istanbul Commerce University to boost training and develop human resources in both Jordan and Turkey.

Under the deal, which was signed by President of the ACC Issa Murad and President of Istanbul Commerce University Naz?m Ekren, the two sides will cooperate in areas related to the exchange of trainers and trainees as well as data and academic materials.

They will also cooperate in organizing programs on academic studies , conferences, workshops and seminars.

Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yaroub Qudah, who attended the signing praised the role played by the ACC's academy to bridge the gap between education outputs required to develop the national economy and what is available right now in the labor market.

The ACC president Issa Murad said the MoU comes as a completion of the visit made by ACC members early this year to the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Istanbul Commerce University, as well as a culmination of the talks held between the two sides to lay the foundations for cooperation between the ACC and the Turkish university.
