Qatar's Emir Meets Chairperson of Russian Federation Council

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Moscow Rabi'II 09 1437 January 19 2016 SPA -- Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Monday with the Chairperson of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko at the Headquarters of the Council in the Russian capital Moscow.

During the meeting they discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways of strengthening.

The two sides agreed that the political dialogue between the two countries would strengthen and promote peace and security in the Middle East especially in light of the difficult circumstances taking place and stressed the need to exchange views to find a solution to the issues of terrorism and the crisis in Syria Yemen and the situation in Iraq.
